機房建置交換機的重要性能指標-緩存
機房建置交換機不可缺少的網絡設備,在數據中心裏發揮着重要作用。在平時使用和採購時,大多數都關注交換機的背板帶寬,端口密度,單端口速度,協議特性等方面的性能指標,很少有人去關注緩存指標,這是一個常常被人所忽略的指標,其實,緩存是數據中心交換機的重要性能參數,是衡量一款交換機設備性能高低的重要指標。交換機的緩存和通常的緩存概念不同,通常緩存指的是當某一硬件要讀取數據時,會首先從緩存中查找需要的數據,如果找到了則直接執行,找不到的話再從內存中找,顯然緩存中的數據查找速度比內存中要快得多,這是一個處於CPU內部的一塊內存地址空間。而在交換機上,緩存就是數據交換的緩衝區,有時又叫做包緩衝區大小,是一種隊列結構,被交換機用來協調不同網絡設備之間的速度匹配問題。突發數據可以存儲在緩衝區內,直到被慢速設備處理爲止。交換機有三種轉發模式:直通轉發,存儲轉發和無碎片轉發,用的最廣泛的是存儲轉發模式。其實不管是哪種轉發模式,都要用到緩存,只不過直通轉發只解析報文的前幾個字節就進行轉發,存到緩存裏的數據量小,轉發速度快,但因沒有對整體數據做校驗,容易轉發錯誤報文。大部分交換機的片上緩存都不大,一般都是幾MB到幾十MB,雖然單端口帶寬在不到十年的時間裏從1 g發展到了100克,但緩存並沒有很大提升,如果一個100 g端口出現突發流量,十幾MB就會出現丟包,顯然在實際應用中會有限制,除非明確應用流量上不要有突發流量。
那麼有人會有疑問,既然緩存這麼重要,那爲何不做的大一些?其實以現有的芯片集成技術應該不難實現。的確,緩存理論上可以通過芯片工藝設計放大,但是過大的緩存會影響正常通信狀態下數據包的轉發速度,因爲過大的緩衝空間需要相對多一點的尋址時間,並增加設備的成本,在一些對延遲要求比較高的應用場景中,緩存過大反而會起反作用,所以不能簡單地去擴大緩存,要在緩存和延遲兩個方面做取捨,“魚和熊掌不可得兼”。當然,隨着技術的進步,在儘量不增加延遲的情況下,也可以不斷提升交換機的緩存能力。受制於時,鍾總線帶寬的能力,緩存性能難以大幅提升,考慮到功耗,成本的平衡,緩存容量也不會大幅增加。有的交換機還在交換芯片外部掛了一個DRAM緩存,用來提升交換機的緩存能力,這樣延遲可能會更大,但緩存可以做得很大,達到1 g以上。緩存十分重要,但我們究竟需要多大的緩存,卻沒有正確答案。巨大的緩存意味着網絡不會丟棄任何流量,同時也意味着網絡延遲的增加,具體要根據數據中心的業務來選擇。比如在搜索業務中,一次搜索要在海量數據庫裏尋找結果,容易產生網絡突發流量,甚至造成網絡擁塞,在這樣的網絡業務中就需要部署緩存大的交換機設備,在金融領域,尤其是股票證券交易網絡中,差一個納秒都可以帶來巨大收益或者損失,這樣的領域對網絡延遲要求非常高,不允許出現擁塞,也就不需要多少緩存,有的金融數據中心還要求使用低延遲交換機,轉發延遲控制在納秒級。

機房配置600*950服務器機櫃50個,2排可放置100臺塔式服務器機架。
用於搬運設備的通道不小於1.5米;
機櫃正面和背面正常距離爲1米至1.2米。
根據容量計算,主設備間需要140平方米。
輔助區的面積一般爲主機房的0.5至1倍。
監控室的面積按3.5至4平方米計算。
結合寫字樓的實際場地、輔助區規劃100平方米。
機房總面積規劃爲240平方米。
3.2 機房功能區域規劃
精密空調區:用於擺放三臺精密空調,爲機房製冷;
網絡設備區域:用於放置公司核心網絡設備、呼叫設備、機房服務器的接入層網絡設備和機房接入層配線架;
存儲區域:放置存儲設備區域;
服務器區域:服務器機櫃集中區域;
UPS配電間:安放UPS電池櫃和2臺配電櫃;

現代數據中心配電系統規劃設計
配電系統,隨着功率半導體器件和電力電子技術的進步,UPS設備經歷了由帶多個輸出工頻變壓器到單個輸出工頻變壓器的演變過程,而性能更好的大功率IGBT器件和更先進的控制技術的出現,爲UPS設備從根本上去掉輸出隔離變壓器創造了物質條件,使其在高頻化、小型化、節能化和綠色環保化方面取得了長足的進展,這就是人們所說的“高頻機”。這種機型集中體現了UPS電路技術的進步,代表着UPS技術的發展方向。與傳統的帶輸出變壓器的UPS相比,它在進一步縮小體積、減輕重量、改善性能、提高效率、降低成本等方面,都取得了明顯的改善和進步,成爲現代數據中心UPS設備的首選機型。
1、去掉輸出變壓器是UPS電路技術的進步
傳統雙轉換式UPS電路的特點之一是通過工頻隔離變壓器輸出。應該說,採用輸出變壓器是UPS逆變器輸出電路形式所決定的,而變壓器的存在卻是弊大於利。逆變器電路技術演變過程的一個顯著的表現形式是:是否必須用變壓器,如何配置變壓器,是否可以去掉變壓器。
UPS電路技術的進步取決於功率半導體器件的進步,從晶閘管到雙極型功率晶體管以及集成控制器的IGBT等功率半導體器件的出現,伴隨着UPS輸出電路由四個變壓器到一個變壓器的演變過程,如圖5.1所示。自19世紀80年代起,UPS逆變器開始只含有一個變壓器。
2、——UPS輸出隔離變壓器的功能
瞭解傳統UPS輸出隔離變壓器的功能是非常重要的,因爲只有當電路措施能夠完全實現它的功能時,纔有可能在新一代設備中替代並取消它。應該說這個變壓器是工頻機全橋逆變器不可分離的組成部分,它的作用也很簡單:升壓和產生三相四線輸出的零線。
①輸出變壓器的功能之一是爲單相負載提供所需的零線
傳統雙轉換式UPS輸出變壓器的一個重要功能是在UPS輸出端產生給單相負載供電時所需要的中性線(或零線)。

機房建置面臨許多挑戰。而電力、製冷、安全、場地只是數據中心選址和建設的的挑戰之一。然而,近幾年,世界各地頻發的地震對數據中心的建設與運營帶來了嚴峻的挑戰。
美國、日本、意大利、英國等主要發達國家都發生過地震。構建新的數據中心和運營現有數據中心的企業不得不以新的方式思考如何保護數據中心,數據中心需要有效應對突如其來的地震和不可預測的地震力。在全球主要的經濟市場都存在於不同程度的地震活躍地帶,如美國的加利福尼亞,日本的東京,意大利的羅馬等。
如今,建築技術在不斷髮展,能夠採用應對建築物彎曲和搖擺的材料進行建設,讓建築物應對地震力時更具彈性,而建設的各種基礎設施使建築物能夠轉移和消除地震的衝擊。這些技術的重點是使建築物能夠承受一定程度的震動和顫動,保持建築物的完整性,保證人員的安全,但並不能很好地保護精密的電子設備正常運行。
在地震或震動風險高的地區建立數據中心需要採用與以往不同的施工方法。要求不僅需要在地震來臨的時候,能夠保持建築物完整,保證人員安全,而且還能讓機架上的設備避免受損,並保持正常使用的功能。
瞭解地震
地震是地殼運動產生的震動或顫動,這種彈性應變情況是板塊突然移動然後進行反彈的情況。地震的級別從震動輕微到地動山搖的災難性的破壞,地球表面的地形地貌可能發生巨大的改變,甚至出現斷崖或巨大的裂縫。此外,這種地殼活動在海上也會頻繁出現,造成海嘯等異常現象。例如在日本構建一個新的數據中心時,就必須考慮所有這些因素,同時思考是在物理層面如何構建建築物。
Colt公司在距日本東京約30公里的千葉縣境內的印西市建設了一個數據中心。鑑於東京在全球經濟市場的重要性,數據中心需要緊鄰城市及郊區,能夠爲用戶提供重要的服務,而選擇在印西市進行建設則達到一個很好的平衡。印西市鄰近東京,但遠離擁擠的市中心,可以作爲冗餘備用數據中心的建設地點。數據中心運營商通常都瞭解數據中心將面臨地震的可能性,從而在設計和建設新的數據中心更加精細,並更具彈性。
在日本印西市建設數據中心
讓建築物結構更好地抵抗地震的橫向力的方式是將牆壁,地板,屋頂結合在一起,形成一種超級結構,然後採用孤立的基礎架構作爲子結構,這是建設最新數據中心的基本前提。然而,爲了消除震動,並保證設備和工作人員一樣安全,還需要考慮建築物所坐落的地理位置。
Colt公司的Inzai 2數據中心採用最新的施工技術來消除和減小該地區發生地震活動的影響。這個超級結構坐落在大量減震器和聚四氟乙烯滑塊之上。這些相互隔離的減震器每平方米能承載125噸的重量,可以將整個建築物與地震力進行隔離,並允許子結構和超級結構互相獨立移動。因此,大部分的地震衝擊和能量被子結構耗散,並減少對超級結構的影響。

光伏電站數據中心光纖系統架構
